02 What it verifies

Configuration detection → Node IPC → CLI up → startup hooks → CLI exec → file persistence → Docker stop and remove.

Each run starts fresh. Stop discards the entire VM. The test reports real stdout, stderr, and exit codes.

Docker runs inside a disposable Linux VM with a bundled Alpine image. Guest networking is disabled. This experiment tests the startup backend; custom images, Compose, and the full editor UI are outside its scope. Nothing connects to Docker on your computer.
